Tools used in project activities: There are two familiar project management tools that are used in order to plan and schedule time among project activities. They are:

• Gantt chart
• PERT chart

Gantt chart:

• It is a bar chart which uses horizontal bars in order to differentiate activities and phases.
• Gantt chart contains two different axes, vertical and horizontal.
  • The vertical axis mentions the list of activities whereas the horizontal axis mentions the time.
