Bandwidth:

- For digital devices, bandwidth is measured in Mbps (Megabits per second) and for analog devices, bandwidth is measured in cycles per second (Hz).
- It is also known as Throughput.
- High bandwidth is preferable.
- Types of Bandwidth:
- Network bandwidth: This is the rate at which the number of connected mobile devices accessing the internet is referred as network bandwidth.
- To increase network bandwidth, it uses hierarchical structure for connecting devices
- Data bandwidth-The amount of data transferred for a second.
- Digital bandwidth-The rate at which the number of pulses are used for a given amount of time.
