The cost of satellite receiver is 99$ and monthly pay is 36$

Calculation:

To find when the costs are equal is calculated below

Let x= number of months

The costs are equalafter 11 months.

And after 12 months, the cable TV costs $540 whereas the Satellite TV costs $531.

Thus,the expenses for a year of satellite TV is less than the expenses for a year of cable.
