Mrs. L recently underwent hip replacement surgery and recovering from it, her surgery done with new type of prosthesis and new postsurgical care. The advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) prepares discharge medication and rehabilitation prescriptions and staff nurse is preparing to transfer Mrs. L to rehabilitation facility, while the nurse educator conduct bedside rounds and explains about the new prosthesis.
