Concept explainers
(a)
To determine:
The body cavities of every organs.
Introduction:
The trunk of the body is subdivided into three regions that are established by the body wall. These three regions are the pelvic, abdominal and the thoracic regions. Many of the vital organs are present in these regions and these vital organs are suspended in the body cavities.A true body cavity is filled with fluid and is closed. It is also, lined by a membrane called as the “serosa or the serous membrane”.
To determine:
The body cavity of the heart.
(b)
To determine:
The body cavity of the large and small intestine.
(c)
To determine:
The body cavity of the lungs.
(d)
To determine:
The body cavity of the kidneys.
