Introduction: The normal flora of the human is otherwise known as resident flora. The resident flora is mostly present in the epidermal layers and the hair follicles. They are very well attached to the dead skin cells, hair, and oil. Therefore, it is very difficult to remove the resident flora, and hence surgical scrubbing with water is recommended.
