About the positive and negative impact of technology on society.
Introduction:
Technology is any process, technique, or instrument that has been developed using the scientific findings of varying related disciplines. Technology is applied everywhere ranging from household works to major scientific organizations.
Explanation of Solution
The major and sole purpose of technological advancement is to make things easier and efficient for humans in varying fields and for every individual be it a housemaker, labor, a doctor, or a scientist. While there are many benefits that technology has on the life of humans, it has also
negatively impacted society in many ways.
The positive impact of technology on society includes advancement in medical science by use of new techniques, development of computers which is used for purposes like data storage, data analysis, artificial intelligence which is further used in other aspects like the exploration of space, vehicle advancement, household products like microwaves, washing machines. Technology has also connected the world through mediums like computers, mobiles, and the internet. In the education sector, new and advanced features help students study effectively. Economical condition of a country or even an organization has also improved by technology intervention.
Technology also has some negative impact that includes, deterioration of the environment which is one of the major impacts as the global temperature has increased due to these advances, and also these instruments are not degradable thus affecting biodiversity. People have also misused technology for their personal sake like money fraud or penetrating someone’s privacy. Biodiversity has also been degraded as humans overuse or overharvests any particular organism for their personal use.
Radiations emitting from different electronic devices also harm the health of organisms.
Technological advancement has both positive and negative impact ranging from an individual to nature or from a house to the whole world. It has many benefits until misuse or ignorance of its negative impacts is not done.
