When thinking from the point of a patient and a physician, the vast amount of medical information available on the web is good as well as bad.

Standpoint of a Patient:

Good Things:

• The web provides the patient with more information to discuss with the doctor.
• There will be information available on the web that is not even mentioned by the doctor.
• If the patient cannot visit the doctor, then he can use the web to get knowledge for quick remedy.

Bad Things:

• The patients being not a professional will learn some erroneous or false information, which can mislead to hurt themselves.
• For example, if the website says to try some physical movements and if the patient does the moments wrong, then the chances of getting hurt is very high...
