Transcribed Image Text:Yejin builds a paper airplane to see how far it can fly before hitting the ground. She
releases the airplane a known height H above the ground with an initial velocity of
magnitude vo at an angle with respect to the horizontal. The moment the airplane is
released, a wind begins to blow slowing the airplane down. The wind affects the
horizontal motion of the airplane giving it an acceleration of magnitude ßt in the
negative x-direction, where is a known constant. The airplane's vertical acceleration is
changed to be half of the gravitational acceleration. Find where the airplane hits the
ground.
