Contraceptive methods are mainly aimed at preventing pregnancy after sexual intercourse. There are a wide variety of contraceptive method that are used by women all over the world. They include contraceptove pills, intra uterine devices like copperT,spermicidal creams ,condoms etc.
Out of these, condoms are widely used because they are easily available and disposable and cost effective . They can also be worn independently by oneself.
Unlike other contraceptive methods where the ejaculate of the males enter the female genital tract,condoms does not allow the semen to leak into female genital tract because it is in the form of a covering. So condoms protect the user from sexually transmitting diseases like HIV,gonorrhea,chlamydia etc
