The Second World War is another global event that started in 1939 when Germany invaded Poland. This event again involved all the major countries of the world and their colonies. The whole world was divided into two sides, i.e., the Axis powers and the Allies. Still, it was the allies who won the war, because of the support of America which had become a superpower mainly after the end of the First World War.
