What is a differential amplifier? Define the differential input voltage and the commonmode input voltage. Write an expression for the output in terms of the differential and commonmode input components.
What is a differential amplifier? Define the differential input voltage and the commonmode input voltage. Write an expression for the output in terms of the differential and commonmode input components.
Differential amplifier:
There are two inputs in standard operational, one is inverting and other is non inverting. When two signals are connected to both inputs simultaneously and produce another common type of operational amplifier circuit, it is called a differential amplifier.
Differential input voltage: it is the voltage which is given as the difference of two input voltages.
As Vd = (V1 – V2)
Common mode input voltage: it is the voltage which is written as average of two input voltages.
As, Vcm = (V1 + V2)/2
