Patric was born and brought up in France. His background is in marketing and sales. He has worked in Africa and South America. His company has now sent him to the UK to be in charge og a projec team which has to design and implement a new sales training programme. Five out of 6 members of the team are women. Four of them have a background in HR and training.
He likes to compliment women on their appearance and has always found this is much appreciated. But he has the impression that his remarks are not appreciated by his new team. He is focused on results and found the first project meeting very slow and polite---too much listening and not enough action. He has started to feel unsure about his team. He is not used to this and it makes him feel uncomfortable.
