Question
In matlab

Transcribed Image Text:V?-V?
The change in kinetic energy (deltaKineticEnergy) is given by this equation: AKE = m-
where
m is the mass, Vf is the final velocity, and V; is the initial velocity.
Modify the function from the previous question to do the following:
1. Add an additional input, initialVelocity.
2. Instead of returning deltaKineticEnergy (as defined above), add calculations to solve for the final
velocity, using the original inputs and the added initial Velocity. Revise the function so that the
output is the final velocity. Hint: the calculations that are currently in the function can be left in
place.
3. Add a conditional that compares the initial velocity to the final velocity. If the initial velocity is
greater than the final velocity, display a message to the command window that the object is
decelerating. If the initial velocity is less than the final velocity, display a message that the object
is accelerating.
4. Modify the calculations such that the mass input can be an array of values and the output final
velocity will be an array as well.
Upload the modified function as your response to this question.
