The organs involved in this phenomenon are the distal epididymis, sperm duct, seminal vesicle, prostate gland, urethra and bladder neck. Male ejaculation contains hundreds of millions of sperm most of which do not reach the oocyte because of acidic pH, secretion by the cervix and several other factors.
