Step 1: Explaining the structure of plasma membrane
The plasma membrane that surrounds the cell is made up of lipids and proteins. Lipids specifically belong to the class phospholipids which have their head group and tail groups. Head groups are small and they are projected towards the outside of the membrane to face water where as the tail group of the double membrane faces each other to promote and increase the hydrophobic interactions.
