Question
- create a Python application that applies concepts of generators in Python.
- Scenario: You are to create an application that simulates the functions of an online registration form for a workshop. The user will be able to enter multiple names into the registration list. The names will be entered in the format of "Lastname, Firstname". Once the user is satisfied, they can then choose to stop entering names into the registration list. After registration is done, each of the attendees to the workshop will be assigned a schedule based on their last name.
- The schedule of the workshops based on the last names are as follows:
- FIRST BATCH: Last names from M-S
- SCHEDULE: Monday, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm, Room M308
- SECOND BATCH: Last names from G-L
- SCHEDULE: Wednesday, 1:30 pm - 7:30 pm, Room M307
- THIRD BATCH: Last names from A-F
- SCHEDULE: Thursday, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm, Room M305
- FOURTH BATCH: Last names from T-Z
- SCHEDULE: Friday, 3:30 pm - 9:30 pm, Room M306
- FIRST BATCH: Last names from M-S
- The application will automatically print out the schedule and the list of users under that specific schedule after the user has entered the names. In other words, the outputs will be organized based on the 4 given schedules of the workshop. Based on the last name of each entry, a user will be placed under one of the workshop schedules.
- The application must make use of generators in the source code. How you implement this is up to you, as long as you are applying the concepts of generators to achieve the requirements of the activity.
