AI is used to do many different processes. Some AI are used to do specific tasks like calculation or helping produce goods while others can do multiple tasks. Some are practically human, but lack a physical body and can't display or process emotions like we can. AI are the key to making many processes more efficient and producing things faster than the average human, which can increase profits for companies. This might seem like a bad thing to some people because they might think that AI and robots are taking over jobs for many people. AI and robots are cheaper in the long run and use less resources than organic employees, so I see why people feel threatened by that. Something I'm concerned about is that AI might make life too easy for us, like in WALL-E where the robots are pretty much slaves to humanity and everyone is lazy and fat. I know that WALL-E is an exaggeration, but with the way things are going, it's not far off. Don't get me wrong, I love that we have AI at our fingertips with Google, Siri, and Alexa.
