"Our society plays a big role in how we think about right and wrong because of how we grow up and what we learn. This makes us share similar ideas about things like fairness and kindness. But, we're also capable of thinking for ourselves. We can question what we're taught and change our beliefs. This is important when our personal values don't match what our society thinks is right. Even though society affects our moral ideas, we can still think on our own and learn from different viewpoints. When we hear about different ways of thinking, we can think about what we believe and why. In history, people have shown that they can change society's views by speaking up against what's usual. So, both what we're taught by society and our own thoughts shape how we understand right and wrong."
