In English grammar, verbs conjugate according to the following rule for forming tense forms:
present tense - by adding "-s"
past tense - by adding "-ed"
participle form - by adding "-ing"
Verbs that exactly follow all the three conditions above are called regular verbs. Verbs that follow only one or two of the above rules are called irregular verbs.
