In chapter 1, we learned about different methods of collecting samples and talked about different biases that can occur when we collect data. We mentioned how different methodologies can give us different results beyond random sampling error. On such example of this was in the lead up to the 2017 special election in Alabama. In the lead up to that election, live interview surveys showed a vastly different race than robo call and online polls did.
