Types of Linked List
A sequence of data elements connected through links is called a linked list (LL). The elements of a linked list are nodes containing data and a reference to the next node in the list. In a linked list, the elements are stored in a non-contiguous manner and the linear order in maintained by means of a pointer associated with each node in the list which is used to point to the subsequent node in the list.
Linked List
When a set of items is organized sequentially, it is termed as list. Linked list is a list whose order is given by links from one item to the next. It contains a link to the structure containing the next item so we can say that it is a completely different way to represent a list. In linked list, each structure of the list is known as node and it consists of two fields (one for containing the item and other one is for containing the next item address).

- Problem DNA: Subsequence markingA common task in dealing with DNA sequences is searching for particular substrings within longer DNA sequences. Write a function mark_dna that takes as parameters a DNA sequence to search, and a shorter target sequence to find within the longer sequence. Have this function return a new altered sequence that is the original sequence with all non-overlapping occurrences of the target surrounded with the characters >> and <<. Hints: ● String slicing is useful for looking at multiple characters at once. ● Remember that you cannot modify the original string directly, you’ll need to build a copy. Start with an empty string and concatenate onto it as you loop. Constraints: ● Don't use the built-in replace string method. All other string methods are permitted. >>> mark_dna('atgcgctagcatg', 'gcg') 'at>>gcg<<ctagcatg' >>> mark_dna('atgcgctagcatg', 'gc')…Define the function number_in_trophic_class(tli3_values, classification) which takes a list of trophic level index values and a trophic classification, returning the number of lakes in that trophic class. For this version of the question you cannot use a list comprehension (or any comprehension) - you will get to use one in the next version of the question. :) Notes: You must include, and use/call your trophic_class function in your submission. Your tropic_class function must work in the same way it did for Question 2. You can assume that classification will always be valid, i.e. it will always be one of the states in the following list: ['Hypertrophic', 'Supertrophic', 'Eutrophic', 'Mesotrophic', 'Oligotrophic', 'Microtrophic', 'Ultra-microtrophic'] For example: Test Result tli3_list_1 = [4.1061, 2.54561, 4.16276, 2.33801, 6.71792, 5.54457, 6.49795, 2.1, 1.2, 1.4, 0.9, 3.8, 3.0] number = number_in_trophic_class(tli3_list_1, 'Microtrophic') print(f'{number} were…Exercise, maxCylinderVolume F# system function such as min or methods in the list module such as List.map are not allowed Write a function maxCylinderVolume that takes a list of floating-point tuples that represent dimensions of a cylinder and returns the volume of the cylinder that has the largest volume. Each tuple has two floating point values that are both greater than zero. The first value is the radius r and the second value is the height h. The volume of the cylinder is computed using ??2h. The value π is represented in F# with System.Math.PI. If the list is empty, return 0.0. Examples: > maxCylinderVolume [(2.1, 3.4); (4.7, 2.8); (0.9, 6.1); (3.2, 5.4)];;val it : float = 194.3137888> maxCylinderVolume [(0.33, 0.66)];;val it : float = 0.2257988304

This function has the following parameters: my_turtle: A turtle object (which will do the drawing) polygon_points: A list of (x, y) points (i.e. a list of tuples) that defines the points of a polygon. This function should make the turtle draw the polygon given by the points. Make sure that you lift your pen before heading to the first point. You should also make sure you return to the very first point at the end (i.e. you will go to the first point in the list two times: once at the beginning, and once at the end). - please code in python The following code defines a list of names and also contains a header for the function best. The best function takes two arguments: a generic scoring function, score, and a list of strings, names. Fill in the function so that it applies a score function to each string in the names list and returns the name with the highest score. If there are ties in the list, your function should return the first item with the maximum score. The best function needs to be designed so that it can take any scoring function and return the name with the highest score. For this question, define a function called len_score that returns the length of a word. Call the best function with the len_score function as a parameter. Example: names = ["Ben", "April", "Zaber", "Alexis", "McJagger", "J.J.", "Madonna"] best(len_score, names) -> 'McJagger'function myCompose(f,g){// TODO: return (f o g);// that is, a function that returns f(g(x)) when invoked on x.}Programming language: C++ Implement a function named insert that takes a dynamically allocated array of ints, the array’s length, the index at which a new value should be inserted, and the new value that should be inserted. The function should allocate a new array populated with the contents of the original array plus the new value inserted at the given index. The originally array should be freed. The following sections provide a detailed description of this function: Make sure your source code is well-commented, consistently formatted, uses no magic numbers/values, follows programming best-practices, and is ANSI-compliant. It is expected to have the program output
- Define a function named get_sum_string_lengths (a_linked_list) which takes a linked list as a parameter. This function calculates and returns the sum of the string lengths in the parameter linked list. For examples, if the linked list is 'programming' -> 'is' -> 'fun', then the function returns 16. Note: • You can assume that the parameter linked list is valid. • Submit the function in the answer box below. IMPORTANT: A Node, a LinkedList and a LinkedListIterator implementations are provided to you as part of this exercise - you should not define your own Node/LinkedList/LinkedListIterator classes. You should simply use a for loop to loop through each value in the linked list. For example: Test listA= LinkedList() listA.add('this') listA.add('is') listA.add('a') listA.add('test') print (get_sum_string_lengths(lista)) listA= LinkedList() listA.add('hello') print (get_sum_string_lengths (lista)) Result 11 51- Persistent variables cannot be accessed from outside the function. Write a function that accepts as arguments the following: A) An array of integers B) An integer that indicates the number of elements in the array The function should determine the mode of the array. That is, it should determine which value in the array occurs most often. The mode is the value the function should return. If the array has no mode (none of the values occur more than once), the function should return −1. (Assume the array will always contain nonnegative values.) Demonstrate your pointer prowess by using pointer notation instead of array notation in this function.
