In Heat Transfer, the Nusselt number is the ratio of convective to conductive heat transfer
across a boundary. For a cylindrical beam, it can be defined as follow:
Nu = h*D/k
where h is the convective heat transfer coefficient, L is the characteristic length and k is
the thermal conductivity of the fluid. In our laboratory at Hacettepe University, we
measure the three parameters in the given equation as follow:
Un = 152 + 5% W/m²K (95%)
= 18 ± 0.5 (95%)
