Grid Computing:
It is possible to describe Grid Computing as a network of computers working together to perform a task that would be more difficult for a single machine. To behave like a virtual supercomputer, all devices on that network run under the same protocol. Analyzing large datasets or simulating scenarios involving high computing power might be the job they are working on. Network computers connect to the network with resources such as computing power and storage space.
Grid Computing is a subset of distributed computing, where computers on a network connected by a bus, often Ethernet or occasionally the Internet, are composed of a virtual supercomputer. It can also be seen as a type of Parallel Computing, which includes multiple cores spread across different locations instead of several CPU cores on a single computer. The idea of grid computing is not new, but as there are no standard rules and protocols created and embraced by individuals, it is not yet perfected.
