Transcribed Image Text:**Understanding Circuit Analysis**
Consider the circuits shown below. Look at each circuit carefully, as the (a) circuit is not identical to the (b) circuit. Give all your answers as positive quantities.
### Circuit Diagrams
#### Circuit (a)
- Two voltage sources:
- \( V_1 = 1.6 \, \text{V} \)
- \( V_2 = 1.4 \, \text{V} \)
- Three resistors:
- \( R_1 = 2 \, \text{k}\Omega \)
- \( R_2 = 1 \, \text{k}\Omega \)
- \( R_3 = 1 \, \text{k}\Omega \)
- Configuration:
- Resistors \( R_2 \) and \( R_3 \) are in parallel.
- Resistor \( R_1 \) is in series with the parallel combination of \( R_2 \) and \( R_3 \).
#### Circuit (b)
