Question
can you please find the solution for this question.also free body diagram and units check is needed

Transcribed Image Text:JAs shown in the figure below, a Metal Part (Object 2) is submerged in water (@ 15°C) and suspended from a
partially submerged Wood Block (Object 1) by a cable.
Calculate:
1. the mass, M2, of the Metal Part in units of grams
2. the tension, 7, in the cable in units of N.
Neglect the volume of the cable.
At least two Free Body Diagrams (FBD's) will be required to solve for both m2 and T.
Draw and label FBD's in your analysis,
•The values will be small due to the small size of the parts. Trust your calculations.
Unit checks are critical.

Jean Perrin carried out investigations on the sedimentation, in the gravitational field, ofparticles of gamboges, mastic and other paint pigments. Consider particles of density of1.2 g/cm3 with 10 nm radius. Assuming Stoke’s Law applies, estimate the distance (in cm)the particles would sediment in 1 hour, in water at 200C? Density of water = 0.998204g/cm3, viscosity of water = 1.002 cP.arrow_forward
