(a) Roberta may suggest the James about the facilities which are provided to the women in labour by the hospital.  for example , hospital care, proper monitoring of vital signs of both mother and baby and instant treatment.  This suggestion may help james to overcome from the hospital distaste. 

(b) Hospital 's experiences can be personal or natural . But, It's not necessary that the patient or clients will experience the same situation which they had to face in the past. 

Answer 2.(a) According to James , At-home deliveries are safe . he has the threat of hospitals beacuse of his first wife's delivery at hospital when his first wife had to face frightened situation . However these thoughts of James becomes the Roberta's fears about at -home delivery. 

(b) Home deliveries cannot be always safe as compared to hospital deliveries.  But, There are some ways to make home delivery safe , like- facility of providing immediate care to mother and baby, warm environment,  baby's vitals monitoring devices etc.
