As you can see my platform from picture, my party politics is Liberal Democrat. 2 Generally young, well-educated and financially comfortable, the Next Generation Left have very liberal attitudes on many issues, including homosexuality, abortion, the environment and foreign policy (Suh).
Texas Democratic Party platform and my platform of immigration is same idea that We value those who come from different countries and cultures. Immigrants have added to the prosperity and resilience of this great country and we believe in fostering better bilateral relationships with all nations (Texas Democratic. ).
Texas Republican Party platform and my platform of environment in the United State is different idea. Texas Republican party is Protection from Extreme Environmentalists- We oppose environmentalism that obstructs legitimate, However, my platform is “This country should do whatever it takes to protect the environment," along with” (Republican.

The New American platform has mostly liberal views on domestic, economic and foreign policies. Therefore, it is forecasted to be most like Democratic parties versus the Republican parties. However, after we review and evaluate the three policies side by side, the final verdict will be made to which party is indeed more similar to the New American party.
For this project, we had to know our district and who is representing us on the house and state senate. 2 The Texas US Senators are Senator John Cornyn and Senator Ted Cruz. The Congress District 12 is represented be Congressman Kay Granger from the Republican Party since 1996. The Congress District 12 is Gerrymander. According to the Kaygranger.house.gov states, “Congressman Kay Granger is representing the total population of 728,142 according to the census of 2010 where 66.5 percent are Anglos, African Americans 6.1 percent, Hispanics 23.7 percent and other 3.9 percent. First off, their beliefs on the environment are something I value as the future is not in the hands of those who will be present to see it, but in the hands of those with power. One of the things the Liberal party promises in their platform is putting in effect a Carbon Tax. By doing this they will encourage large contributors of pollution to lower their emission or find ways to have a greener company. Because the Liberal party plans to tax companies that emit a large amount of pollution,
Almost half percent of the population of the state is immigrants. Immigration has been a debatable issue on the politics sector as well as citizens. Some people are fine with the immigration and some are strongly against immigration. Republican Party does not support Immigration in the country. They believe in tighten the immigration law and deportation. They welcome legal immigrants but oppose illegal immigrants because they believed that the undocumented immigrants take away the job from national citizen and do not pay tax. If one has no document, then she/he does not have to pay a tax which means loss of the country. Therefore, republican support federal funding on securing the boarder as well as enforcing the immigration law. Likewise, Republican Democratic is also against the illegal immigrants but they support to enact illegal immigrants to learn English and pay tax to nation. Both of the parties motive is to secure the nation financially as well as territorially but they have a different ways to overcome the
The Democratic party believes and supports immigration, while looking to rebuild the broken immigration system in America today.
Social political. My socio-political position has often been aligned with that of my parents. As a middle-class family, they have always voted for the Liberal political party of Canada. I have voted for Liberal in the past election. I believe that this party has a platform that is closely aligned with my beliefs and values. The current political party has made a priority to engage with younger Canadian citizens, as we are the future and hold an important role. There is importance for the missing and murdered indigenous women, preventing domestic violence and sexual assault, post-secondary education for those who cannot afford it, promoting health, and help with employment. These are all things that must be improved and changed in our society
It is known for its exceptionally low voter turnout. One reason is that in Texas, Republicans control all three branches of government. People feel that their vote doesn’t matter much anyway; a republican will win either way. Furthermore, our traditionalistic-individualistic political culture does not promote voter participation. Also, on average, our younger and less educated population tends to fit the demographics associated with low voter participation.
The Democratic party support illegal alien’s ability and rights to become citizens and giving them more securities under the law. They wish to restructure the immigration laws because they believe the United States was based on immigrants. The Democratic party stated that “today’s immigration laws do not reflect our values or serve our security, undocumented immigrants in our borders who clear a background check who work hard and pay taxes should have a way to earn full participation in America”.
Likewise, the Democratic perspective favors the DREAM ct. Which is, “The Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act, also called the DREAM Act, is a bill last introduced into Congress on March 26, 2009. Its purpose is to give undocumented students a chance at becoming permanent residents” (About 1). In other words, the Democratic perspective believes that immigrants, regardless of status, create the hegemony that the United States is. They value, education over immigration status. In consequence, Democrats promote and fight for the DREAM Act.
I am an assistant day care teacher and due to that it is important I know the demographics behind the city of Sherman Oaks, located in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California. The median age is 36.52. 10% of the residents are 9 years or under, 7% are 10-17, 5% are 18-24, 30% are 25-39, 36% are 40-64, and lastly 65+ is 13%. There are 6,095 white-collar jobs and 4,152 blue-collar jobs.
Working with the Texas legislature, Greg Abbott has fought to increase penalties for immigrants and improve coordination within the law enforcement community. The party on Abbott’s side believes that amnesty towards those who have broken immigration laws only encourages future immigrants to enter the country illegally rather than legally. While the Republicans recognize that the number of foreign immigrants travelling here has enriched our country, they also believe that requiring them to do so legally is vital to the safety of
Although illegal immigration is a decisive issue, groups that oppose each other can be found within both major parities. There are those in the Democratic party that want immigration reform for those they think of as being undocumented workers. These reforms often include a path to citizenship for those who are currently here illegally. Also in the Democratic party are
the crime rate to an extent. With legalization of these aliens it will strengthen and
In general, Democrats are seen to favor immigration to the United States. The Democratic party believes that there needs to be an immigration reform to bring undocumented immigrants out of the shadows and require them to learn English, pay taxes, and get on the path to citizenship. They desire a system that will allocate visas to meet economic needs, enforce the law, and keep families together. The Department of Homeland Security prioritizes immigrants; for example, not letting a person with criminal background opposed to a young child who wants to come to the United States for education and work. A priority to the Democrats party is family reunification and therefore believe that immigration is not all "bad." Under the Obama administration, Democrats supported the process of legal immigration for immediate relatives of U.S. citizens. Along with this process, Democrats support the Dream Act, legislation that ensured young people, who
