Introduction: Wisconsin is located in the Midwest region and borders Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois as well as Lake Michigan. The landscape is divided into five regions; Lake Superior lowland, northern highland, central plain, eastern ridges and lowlands, and the western upland. The monthly average temperatures range between 82 degrees and 5 degrees. The average amount of rain fall is between twenty-eight to thirty-four inches. Wisconsin also experiences cold, snowy winters. The main sports cities in Wisconsin are Cable, Hayward, Madison, Milwaukee and Green Bay. Wisconsin is big spectator sports viewing state. They really like football and baseball. In 1982, the Brewers made their only world series appearance and lost the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games. On November 9, 1996, the Brewers broke ground on Miller Park which is there current stadium. In 1997, the Brewers switched from the American League to the National League.
The Milwaukee Professional Sports and Services, Inc. were awarded a franchise by the National Basketball Association in 1968. The Milwaukee Bucks have 25 postseason appearances in 40 years. Their only championship came in 1971 when they swept the Baltimore Bullets. November 5, 1988, the Bucks played their first game at the Bradley Center. In 2014, ownership transferred from Senator Kohl to a group headed by Marc Lasry and Wes Edens.

The Wisconsin Badgers is located in Madison, Wisconsin. They are a Division 1 school and play in the Big Ten Conference. They have 11 men’s sports and 12 women’s sports.
The American Birkebeiner started in 1973 by some enthusiasts who wanted to try something new. Today the American Birkebeiner is the largest cross-country ski race in North America. It is a 50-kilometer race for skaters and a 55-kilometer race for classic skiers. The race starts in Cable and finishes in Hayward.
