Hunters bring a deer that they don’t want to a locker plant anywhere in Iowa, and the locker plant will cut up the meat to be distributed to many food banks around Iowa. Every time someone purchases a hunting license, one dollar is taken from the amount and is given to the HUSH program. There are many reasons why the HUSH program is great for Iowa, and it has already started to spread to different states like Pennsylvania and Texas.
