Peter is important and needs to stay William Shakespeare was one of the best poets in the world. He is a famous playwright and wrote many plays, poems, and short stories. He was born in 1564 and died in 1616. He wrote The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet and so much more. I honestly think he is the best poet in the world. Peter is important because he sets up some of the story. He caused stuff that I will be talking about in this document. He is kind of stupid, he cannot read, and he is really funny. Peter gets himself in trouble with the Montagues. He started a whole fight in the streets of Verona. He is also the servant to the nurse. Peter’s Causes He caused a fight on the streets of Verona. When they were walking into the courtyard he kept on spitting and biting his thumb at the Montagues. Then the Montagues came over to Peter and asked him if he bit his thumb at them. In return Peter got other Capulets and told one montague to draw his sword. There was a big fight between the two families. The Prince of Verona had to stop the fight. …show more content…

Then Romeo saw that Roselyn was going there and he wanted to go there. If Peter was not in the story and replaced with someone that did know how to read Romeo would have never met Juliet. Peter not being able to read was very crucial to the story. It was also very crucial to the plot. Peter also had to escort the nurse to Romeo. That was his job to do and i guess he did it well. He was her servant so he had to do what she told him to do. If he was not the servant to the nurse he would have never showed Romeo that list for the party. Then Romeo would have never met
