Lying is known as a bad thing, but sometimes it can be used for good. Dishonesty just depends on how you utilize it. In the story, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain you will see lying happening very often. When Huckleberry Finn lies it is usually for a good purpose. While the king and duke use it for more greedy reasons.

Almost everybody can agree that lying is wrong, but are there any circumstances that make lying okay? In the book, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, a young boy in the 1840s runs away from home, and floats down the Mississippi River with a runaway slave named Jim. The two undertake a series of adventures meeting lots of new people along the way. Much of the story is developed through the elaborate lies told by Huckleberry, which both shape him as a character and make the reader feel a deeper connection to him. I feel that telling lies is not acceptable for the following reasons. Lying is not the right thing to do in a bad situation. If someone is talking behind your back, you would want someone to tell you what they are saying. If that person lies to you, you think of a different perspective then of what the situation actually is. If you confront the person who’s talking behind your back and it turns out to be a different story, the situation is going to get worse because that person who told you about the

Lying typically ruins relationships whether they are personal or work-related. It is clear that lying creates skepticism and disbelief.
