Why Is High School Better Than College

In high school a student will get a worksheet that can be completed in 15-20 minutes, but in college there is a lot more researching, reading, and homework. The work will be much more difficult and will require a lot more effort and time,but I am willing to try my best. I will need to study more often and be able to manage my time to pass my classes to get the credit that I need to graduate and some extra for college. So far in high school, I have taken the highest level class my high school has to offer,I took advantage of it . Each year schools of 25 teachers would use about 62,500 pieces of paper. The amount of paper you use each day depends on the class you have. It also depends on the teacher of the class. Schools of more than 25 teachers would use more paper. It also depends how many students are in each class, and in the school overall. I think you use more paper in high school than you do in middle school. There are three other ways high school is different than middle school.

Preparing for College after graduating from high school is considered to be as one of the most thought by students. Even so, most students nowadays are uncertain whether attending college will be a good advantage for them. Some believe that it is a waste of time and money, but most people consider it as a reason to thrive in life. Unlike High school, College is certainly different because it determines your future and should be taken more earnestly by the students. College education is a worth of cost because it basically provides students with great benefits, which can be a good help in shaping their future goals.

College is a great opportunity for high school graduates through it may not seem exciting or entertaining but it will be worth it once students start finding jobs after their studies. College is a great start for anyone's future because it would impact each person's knowledge in the future and develop students characteristics once they start to find a well-paying job.

In high school teens have a very structured schedule by having classes start at the same time everyday and having homework with due dates. Most colleges have very spread out schedules and only two to three classes a day with longer time to get homework done. My undergraduate degree is finally complete and I can finally move on to graduate school. What is graduate school going to be like? What should I expect from graduate school? Those are both good questions and I have thoughts on both of them. One thing that is for sure, I am excited about starting graduate school and can't wait to begin. I am so glad I found the educational administration program at UTPB.

I have always wanted to graduate high school and attend college. From a young age, I remember thinking about what an honor it would be to attend the same college my mother did. I always worked hard and maintained a high grade point average, hoping to join the ranks of high school seniors who moved into the college world. The suddenly I learned about a program that could help me reach my dreams sooner than planned.

    College is a lot better than high school in my opinion because you have been given way more freedom and opportunities to succeed.

Plenty of people agree that college was the best period of their lives. While it doesn't really speak well for the majority of their time on this earth, one can certainly say that college is a great experience. Everything changes; it is the period of time where a child learns how to be an adult.

A big difference between college and high school is a new place of living. When you're at home and going to high school your parents cook, shop, and make sure you do your work. At college things are different; you have to do all those that you parents did at home. An example would be doing your laundry. Not many kids do their own laundry, so when it comes to college, things are very different. That's why people say that when you're in college you tend to mature due to the new style of living, which is living on your own.

Throughout high school every teacher told me how much harder college was going to be and to an extent they were not wrong. College has been harder but not in the way I had expected. I have encountered some things that are way more challenging than high school and something that I find much easier.

Ever since I started high school I've always had the urge to want to go home, but I knew that I would be here for the next four years of my life. What I didn't know is that it would be such a roller coaster. When I started high school, I planned to sit with the same people at lunch and do the same thing every day. But just like a roller coaster, a big hill and few turns came and things changed very quickly. As I was sitting in my seat in homeroom, I thought to myself "What will my freshman year be like?"

When I first started high school I hated it, I felt like it was a lot of pressure and everyone seemed to know everyone and I had just moved from Texas and came into a class where everyone knew each other. I stood out and felt very uncomfortable but as time went by I loved high school. I made lots of new friends, had great teachers that were very close to me and was succeeding in my classes. My main goal was to graduate with a good GPA, do well on my ACT and make my mom proud. Coming to Illinois was a big change from Texas, my parents separated and my dad abandoned us so my mom decided to move to Illinois because her brother lives here and would help her out financially till she was on her feet. My mom works two jobs. I am the youngest out

I encourage you to take school seriously. It’s now time to hold yourself accountable. I understand we have different work tactics and I don't want you to live in my shadow, for that you must pave your own way. I encourage you to be active in school pride, clubs, and volunteer work. I love being apart of the school my heart would always swell when I develop close relationships with friends, teachers. Clubs and volunteer work are not only for colleges but for you to be a well rounded student and build your character; this is just the beginning to making connections. You should be remembered for having integrity and high spirits which I'm confident you have.

Many people believe that high school is adequately strengthening them so that they may succeed in college. I personally do not believe that this statement is true. In all reality high school, to some extent, is setting you up for failure. Why, because in high school going to class is imperative, if you miss an assignment you have a plethora of opportunities to make it up and receive extra credit, last you have easy access to your teachers. But once you get to college all of that is going to change drastically.
