While many argue that their deaths were the result of a series of unfortunate events, others point the finger at specific characters who played a significant role in the deaths of both characters. In this essay, it explains the main cause of Romeo and Juliet's deaths and argues that it was ultimately the actions of Friar John, The Prince, and most importantly, love that led to their unfortunate deaths. Some people might like to argue and believe that Romeo is a big cause of the lovers deaths. There are several reasons why I believe Romeo is innocent in the tragic death of the lovers.

Little did I know, their fate was unexpectedly set in place by the wise Friar Lawrence and Nurse. While reflecting upon the causes of Romeo and Juliet’s deaths, I realized that Friar Lawrence and the Nurse influenced many immense decisions that had a significant impact on Romeo and Juliet’s fate. Therefore, Friar Lawrence and the Nurse are significantly to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s ultimate deaths because of their impulsive decisions and flawed guidance. Without these two factors provided by Friar Lawrence and the Nurse, the fate of these star-crossed lovers could have been different.

To sum up, the promise was mainly directed at those who played a role in Romeo and Juliet death. For instance in Act 3 line 83 Tybalt was looking to fight Romeo. As a result of this Romeo was banished, Mercutio dies, and later on Tybalt also dies.

As you will soon see, Romeo in William Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet, is to be held responsible for the deaths of Mercutio, Tybalt, Paris, Romeo, and Juliet since he kickstarted the whole thing by crashing the Capulet’s party, being too impulsive in love, and killing a lot of people, including himself, which led to the death of Juliet. Romeo crashing the Capulets’ party is, in a way, the reason for the whole plot to play out and in turn, leading to many deaths.
