In some tragic situations multiple people get blamed for the outcome. The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is about two lovers who end up dying for each other and at the same time ending a feud with both of their families. Shakespeare reveal through his characters perfectly how multiple people are to blamed to certain circumstances. In my opinion Romeo and Juliet are the least to blame, the friar and nurse are more to blame, but the parents are the most to blame. Romeo and Juliet’s blame lies with the fact that they are immature and stupid. For starters Romeo was or depressed over his breakup with Rosaline and had believed that he’d would've never love again. Juliet's blame lies with the fact that she was primarily fighting with her parents over a planned marriage. Juliet's nurse gave her advice and encouraged her to pursue a relationship. She had arranged multiple secret inquiries and rendezvous between the teens. The friar, friend of Romeo, took thing a step further by secretly marrying the young lustful creatures. Their combined blame was encouraging and advancing the relationship which created a negative domino effect. The heads of the capulet and montagues houses are the most to blame due to their hatred for each other and feud which they started and are too stubborn and selfish to solve. Neither of the families are willing to make peace to show that they are strong and not merciful. Their greed and falsely proud attitudes lead them to not do what is best for their city verona and risk being banished from the city.
