Think of a similar live action movie using CGI? Star Wars the Revenge of the Sith, How are they the same or different? Both movies central characters ended up getting horrible injure during the movie and they was reborn as a tool for the antagonist to use as they see fit, while Alex Murphy was injure by crooked cops because he was such a good guy, Anakin Skywalker was injure by his Obi-Wan because he became a bad guy. The characters Alex and Anakin have similarities and differences as both of them was good men who wanted to protect the ones they love but ended up being manipulated by the bad but while Alex fought against Dick Jones, the man responsible for his accident Anakin still help Sidious who was responsible for the war he wanted to end.
I remember I watched the Revenge of the Sith for the first time in 2005. I grew up watching the original trilogy with my dad, who has always been a fan of Star Wars. We weren’t overly fond of the prequel series, but he still brought the movie home from Blockbuster and turned it on for all of us to watch. Anakin Skywalker, the protagonist, speaks to his wife for the first time since he turned over to the dark side. “I don’t want to lose you the way I lost my mother. I am becoming more powerful than any Jedi has ever dreamed of, and I’m doing it for you—to protect you…Don’t you see? We don’t have to run away anymore. I have brought peace to the Republic. I am more powerful than the Chancellor. I can overthrow him and together you and I can rule
Connection The connection I make to this book is to halo because the master chief and all the other characters in halo are willing to lay down there lives for there cause just like revan because revan left the republic so that way he could stop what he feared to be the end of the
“ The force will be with you, always.” This is advice given to Luke Skywalker by his mentor Obi Wan Kenobi. In the archetypal hero’s journey a wise and experienced mentor such as Obi Wan will often help guide or offer advice to the youthful and budding hero. Throughout time and across different cultures there are certain symbols, events and characters which can be found in literature and Star Wars IV: A New Hope follows this trend step by step. During the film Star Wars IV: A New Hope, the main protagonist Luke undergoes a stereotypical, or in literary terms an archetypal hero’s journey. Luke starts from humble beginnings and when he is called upon to save the galaxy; he then faces various tests which help him hone skills that he will need for the final life or death battle.
The movie Star Wars Episode 3 The Revenge Of The Sith directed by George Lucas is a great representation of the God teacher versus God Tempter. In this film the character that perfectly shows a God teacher, is Obi – wan Kenobi. Obi – wan Kenobi is the Jedi master of Anakin Skywalker the perceived chosen one. Skywalking is the one that is suppose to bring balance to the force and save the galaxy. The God tempter is Darth Sidious whom is to be the dark lord from the darkside of the force. With all the hardships that Skywalker endures, it leaves his mind cluttered with a decision to make; stay on the good side living in Obi – wan Kenobi's shadow or acquire more knowledge about the hidden powers a Jedi can poses: saving people from death. Anakin gets manipulated by Darth Sidious to join the
As you have likely realized, the differences begin to overlap the similarities towards the ends of both movies.
The Pennsylvania Army National Guard is a branch of the United States Army that is mostly used today for homeland security. Although the National Guard is not active like the Reserves or Active Duty Army, they still have the same requirements and same responsibility. More than 22,000 men and women make up the Pennsylvania National Guard and Air National Guard today. They reach from state quarters at Fort Indian Town Gap in Lebanon County to about 100 comunities in the commonwealth. Like all National Guard members they share the same responsibilities. For their federal mission, they are trained and equipped to join the active forces in the time of war or a national
First off, the biggest difference is the time periods of each movie. The older movie was set in Early Renaissance times. The newer movie is set in the early ninety’s. Another difference is the use of special effects. In the
The name Darth Plagueis is not as well known in the Star Wars community, and yet he is quite important to the Emperor’s rise. The first time he is mentioned is in Revenge of the Sith by his apprentice, Palpatine. He speaks to Anakin of how Plagueis’s life was tragic; he could manipulate midiclorians to create life and that “he could save others, but not himself”. It is widely believed that Palpatine killed Plagueis after he learned enough from him. However, there is evidence to suggest that Plagueis did not die, but that he survived and poses as Snoke, the leader of the First Order.
Another change that happen between versions of Star Wars IV: A New Hope, is the various CGI added and changed though out the whole movie. Stormtroopers, explosions, and Alliance fighters are added, changed, and taken away in various scenes in the 1997 and 2011 versions of Star Wars IV: A New Hope; however, I’m going to focus on the Death Star battle scene.
The definition of propaganda is “information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view” During the Russian Revolution in 1917, newspapers and the radio were used to tell the people what to believe. Propaganda is evident in the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell. It is used in many different ways to mislead the animals to make them believe untrue things about Napoleon and the promises he makes. Propaganda in the novel Animal Farm is used by Squealer to manipulate and motivate the animals. Propaganda in Animal Farm is used by the pigs to manipulate the animals on the farm by lying to them about their privileges.
There are relationships and marriages that does not have that perfect life of being happy. In Zora Hurston “Sweat” she describes Sykes as an abusive, ungrateful, cheating husband to his wife Delia. The story “Sweat” is about a husband and wife ling in Florida unhappy. Sykes plans to get rid of his wife Delia and bring his other woman ,which is name Bertha, in the house. Sykes is illustrated in the text as an abusive, cheating and ungrateful husband as karma takes part in his timely death.
As Stephen King, an author, once said, “Books and movie are like apples and oranges. They are both fruits, but taste completely different.” Which is true. The movie a Raisin in The Sun is better than the book because the movie gives more details and information rather than the book. By adding more details and information to the movie, it makes it seem more interesting than the book. Even though the author added little details to the movie it feels like there are a lot going on. The book compared to the movie just seems boring. Change is good, sometimes in life you have to try new things to make something better. By changing the movie up a bit, there seems to be more going on, as was mentioned before. Like it was said in the quote, the movie and book looks the same and has the same features, but it is also completely different from one and other. Like it was said in the quote, the movie and book are similar, but are different in many ways. Here are some examples that are listed in the next three paragraphs.
While Clone Wars focused on physical and character development, while also having a longer series, Rebels prefers to stay where they are comfortable and move at a fast pace in an episode, thus ending the series faster. In some ways their differences help grow their popularity. The differences also show how Lucasfilm sometimes strays from normality and tries something new. Though they have different physical appearances, expectations, and they move at their own rate, they both easily please their intended audience with their characters and Star Wars relation. This shows how two items can be significantly different, but still be immensely
Set approximately 10 years after The Phantom Menace, this installment in the beloved saga sees Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and his Padawan Anakin Skywalker (newcomer Hayden Christensen) act as bodyguards to Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman) who now serves as the senator from Naboo. Obi-Wan spends the majority of the film tracking down Amidala’s would-be assassin, discovering a secret clone army for the Jedi in the process. Anakin, on the other hand, begins to fall in love with Padmé and takes the first noticeable steps to becoming Darth Vader.
Main differences in these films are not in the depictions of the drug cartel, most likely because they are, in actuality, as bad as they seem on film. Differences arise in how the drugs relate to those using them or moving them, how they impact the characters, and the role the United States plays in relation to the characters and cartel.
