I have a specific person who caused Romeo and Juliet's death. I think it was mainly Lord Capulet's fault (aka, Juliet’s dad). Lord Capulet caused Juliet’s death and Romeo’s. Because of the things he was saying, he said that he was going to disown her if she didn't listen. Just because Juliet wanted to marry Romeo, she was forced to marry Paris and leave Romeo behind, she didn't want to marry Paris. And because she didn't listen, he disowned her and that's how both Juliet and Romeo died. My support and explanation are valid, everything I said was true. It was Lord Capulet’s fault that Juliet and Romeo died, she was forced and she felt like she had no one else so she killed herself right along with Romeo. Because of what Lord Capulet did, he’s the one to be blamed for, it was his fault …show more content…
His forcing Juliet to get married only left Juliet with two choices and that was to either run away or get married, and of course we all know that getting married to anyone but Romeo wasn't an option. Romeo who was not informed of the Friar’s plan, commits suicide when he sees Juliet unconscious. Juliet arises and sees Romeo dead and takes her own life. The Friar is overpowered by guilt and realizes that he has “...a short date of breath” (Act 5 Scene 3 229). If the Friar was not the reason for two suicides he would have no reason to feel guilty. It is obvious that the Friar is the one to blame. John Teklits English 2 Mr.Shiftlet March 7th 2024 How Capulet Caused Juliet's Death Lord Capulet was the reason behind Juliet and Romeo's death. Capulet was the worst, and main contributor to the ending. Even though Capulet did not want or expect her to die, he did inadvertently cause it, even if he did not mean to. And if he was not as bad of a person as he was, she would still be alive. And the way that Capulet threatens Juliet with disowning her is also what led to her death, and the amount of arguments that they got into.
Do you wonder who is at fault for Romeo and Juliet’s death? It would be easy to blame Friar John and Friar Laurence for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths because of their miscommunication in sending the letter to Romeo. Perhaps it’s easy to blame their parents for their hatred of each other. Romeo is not only to blame for his own death but for the death of Juliet as well. There are many reasons to believe Romeo is to blame. (1.2 34) ”my master is the great rich Capulet, and if you be not of the house of Montagues, I pray come and crush a cup of wine”.
