We had been so bored finished half the baloney, and nearly finished our whole pack of weeds, Johnny had promised to pick up more supplies in a couple of days, I had felt sick, when a toe nudged me in the ribs,” Glory,” a familiar voice had said,” He looks different with his hair like that.” It was Dally, I rolled over, rubbed my eyes real sleepy like yawning, finally I blinked, I nearly blew Dally’s eardrums out when I yelled,” Hey, Dally!”He yelled back,” Hey Ponyboy,” he looked down at me,” or should I say sleeping beauty?” Ponyboy had thought he would never see or imagine the day when he would be so happy to see Dallas Winston, but that day had come. As excited as I was to see Dally I knew it only meant one thing, contact with the outside world everything had become real and very vital. Cade suffers light burns on his back along with a huge bruise. These three young men were walking when they saw the crowd in front of the burning church. Witnesses said that when the young men heard the children screaming they ran to help without hesitation. According to Curtis, “Faintly, just faintly, you could hear someone yelling. And it sounded like it was coming from inside the church… I’ll get them don’t worry. I started a dead run for
I sat there with Darry and Two-Bit and most of the rest of the guys. We all watched TV. We didn’t say anything for the most part, but we all knew what we were all thinking about: Johnny and Dally. There was a loud smashing sound from Soda and mine’s room. I was the only one to get up. The others were too zoned out on the TV and inside of their thoughts. I slowly walked over to the room with the door closed. “Soda?” I called. The others only turned after they heard me. This couldn’t happen to me again. Not again.

Embers flew from the campfire, and into the starry night sky; meanwhile, the campers, Jackie, Carl, and Jim, sat close to it for warmth. “Now who's ready for a campfire story?” said Jackie. “You can sometimes go a little overboard, so Carl is taking the wheel.” Carl continued, “Once upon a time” Jim screams, and Carl rolls his eyes at Jim, “May I proceed,” He responds rhetorically. By the time Carl finishes the scary story, Jim has already dashed into the tent, startling his dog, a basset hound named Roxy. Carl along with Jackie look at each other in regretful worry, as they walk towards Jim's tent.
When they entered the movie theater, they saw that nobody else was there only them and two girls who were sitting down front. Dally tried to annoy them because that’s what he likes to do. Sodapop and Ponyboy were tired of him so Sodapop stands up to him. He defends the them and as a reward, the girls affere them to sit with them. They agreed to that and watched the movie. During the movie, when they were getting snacks Cherry asks Ponyboy about Johnny and if he has been hurt before.
At the church that burned, many innocent lives were endangered. As a school was taking a field trip there, a group of kids entered the church, even though they were not supposed to. A cigarette, dropped by either Johnny or Ponyboy, started the fire as it lights up the old wooden church. Seeing what the hoods have done, they approached the fire, only to hear screaming coming from inside.
On Tuesday, 1965,a burning church in Windrixville, Oklahoma contained 5 young children.Fortunately the kids got saved by 3 gallant teenagers, Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, and Dallas Winston. They were heroic by going through the church window and getting all of them to safety. They only did it because there friend Ponyboy decided to save them. Ponyboy said “I could not have left all those children in there. I would have risked my life to save all of them.”Johnny Cade unfortunately, had mortal wounds after getting the children out. Firstly, Dally’s actions and words were, “"Here"--- he handed us a gun and a roll of bills--- "the gun's loaded. For Pete's sake, Johnny, don't point the thing at me. Here's fifty bucks. That's all I could get out of Merril tonight He's blowin' his loot from that last race."” Without thinking twice, Dally was ready to help Johnny and Ponyboy because he cared for them. Even though Dallas Winston does not care if he gets in trouble, but he cared if Johnny and Pony did. For example, Dallas Winston told Johnny, “"Johnny," Dally said in a a pleading, high voice, using a tone I had never heard from him before, "Johnny, I ain't mad at you. I just don't want you to get hurt. You don't know what a few months in jail can do to you. Oh, blast it, Johnny"--- he pushed his white-blond hair back out of his eyes--- "you get hardened in jail. I don't want that to happen to you. Like it happened to me..."” Dally knows that his dangerous exploits are fun for him, but not the personality Johnny has or deserves. When Dally, a hoodlum has an implored tone it has a significant meaning that proves Johnny and Ponyboy bring out the soft and affection. Therefore, Dallas Winston is proven a loyal member of the Greaser
With booming triumph, Slendy bust through to window in which he heard the sounds of agony. Greeted by the sight of a woman held at knife point, Slendy knocked the knife out of the man’s hand and threw him out of the window. After doing so, he looked at the woman, who now was trembling in fear, and camly reached his arm out for a hug. She didn’t know what this 7 foot completely white creature was doing trying to hug her. She let out the most scorching scream he had ever heard. Bolting down the stairs, the woman was now sobbing in the intensity of the situation. Slendly was sad. Nobody ever gives him credit for his incredible work as a superhero. They’re all focused on the fact that he is a giant 7 foot monster who isn’t even human. It wasn’t

The boys were returning from lunch out when they saw that the church was aflame. They went to talk to a school teacher and he explained that they were having a school picnic when they saw the church. Everyone around heard screaming inside so Ponyboy and Johnny gallantly ran inside to save whoever it was. They found where the screaming came from and threw the unharmed kids out of the window, but got into some trouble themselves. Ponyboy made it out with a concussion and a couple burns. Johnny, however, had a burning timber fall on his back, paralyzing him and many 3rd-degree burns which unfortunately killed him. He died a hero,
Suddenly, Sodapop asks me, “what’s wrong with you?” And I stopped walking back and forth. I turned around to see Sodapop laying on the dark couch in our living room. I started to yell at him, “have you seen Ponyboy anywhere or his whereabouts.” Sodapop answered me, “no, I haven’t seen him since this afternoon.” I was still worrying about Ponyboy that instead
Towards the middle of the story, a boy named Johnny had killed a Soc that was drowning Ponyboy. He and Ponyboy fled the city to another town, and hid in an abandon church there for a week. When they were going to leave, they realized the church was on fire and there was kids trapped inside. Johnny and Pony were good friends and they decided to go help the children. After they rescued the children, they had to escape the burning, ravaged building. A flaming, steaming hot beam from the ceiling fell on Johnny. After this happened, Pony passed out, “ I leaped out the window and heard timber crashing and the flames roaring right behind me. I staggered, almost
After putting the phone back in I felt that whole world spinning. Steadying myself, I took a quick moment to rest. “What should I do now?” I thought to myself, the fuzz’ll be here any moment and Dally had been abolishing a store item last time I saw him. Thinking back to what Johnny said earlier, I decided to go back to the store where I had seen Dally. Walking towards the store, I gradually started to gain speed as I noticed the alarm had started to ring in the direction of the store, despite the injuries from the rumble and my aching body. Running like the wind, Dally had exited the door and was on his way towards what seemed like another phone booth on the side of the street. Funny how I had never seen that there. I ran in the same direction, hoping the gang would get here soon, I reached the booth and stood in the way, between the phone and Dally. Surprised , he stared at my figure for a second, like he was taking in that I was actually standing right there, blocking him. “Get out of my way, Pony.” He said firmly, a couple dollar bills escaping from his back pocket.
He picked it up, it was a picture of his daughter Carlene when she was in the fifth grade. It must have fallen out of his wallet when he bought the coke. Bright blue eyes and long blonde hair. Her smile melted his cold heart and Alfie knew that nothing could destroy the love he had for his daughter. Tears filled his eyes and he fell to the ground sobbing. “I’m so pathetic,” he thought to himself. When he got up from the freezing ground he looked over at the farmhouse. All the lights were on and a dog was sprinting through the snow - filled cornfield. The dog came right to him and sat at his feet panting. Alfie stood there petting the strange dog that reminded him of his own. The farmer came flying across the field on a snowmobile. Once he finally reached him, he thanked Alfie for holding him, and told him that he gets out all the time. “What’s it’s name?” Alfie asked. “His name is Rambo,” the farmer
