The production I chose to attend was the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s rendition of Romeo and Juliet. I attended the Saturday night, seven thirty pm production at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk. It took place in a proscenium theatre. It was the classic ‘picture frame’ stage setup with the opening, two wings, and a backstage. The theatre was spacious with a royal air. The area felt sophisticated and traditional.
