What Is My Experience In Middle School

Over my life I have been influenced many times, but over the past year I have been influenced a couple times already this year. One of the ways I have been influenced was moving from Eastside (an elementary school) to the Middle School. Another way I have been influenced was making new friends that had gone to a different schools then me. The last way I have been influenced was by my family.

Middle school was a lot of fun for me, I met a lot of new people and lots of new girls. It was also kinda tough in the beginning with switching classes and things and having so many different teachers and lots of homework from different classes and having to remember the room numbers of each class but eventually I got used to everything.

During my eighth grade year in middle school I had one of the magnificent teachers ever, Mr. Gendron. He's was my Avid and a math teacher. He would also teach everyone what was right and wrong. Teaching everyone what they can do to succeed, asking if they needed someone to talk to, he was as a counselor to me. Whenever he would see someone changing their way to be he would know something was going on, it was as he had superpowers. He believed that we could work hard enough to succeed. He had hope on us whatsoever. Failing wasn't an option for us, he would try his best to make us understand the lesson. Making us learn each problem step-by-step. Many significant memories in my eighth grade year, but the special ones are with Mr.

I have also had experience of leadership in my community by being a part of a youth ministry in church that gathers students from different high schools where we get to share our experiences and struggles as teenagers. I was able to go to a retreat where I lead a bible

I remember when it was time to go from being a 12 year old 6th grader, to a 12 year old middle schooler with a lot more responsibilities than I was used to having. I had to make sure all my homework was done on time (It took me awhile to get the idea of no late homework hammered into my head), asked for help when I needed it the teacher wasn’t going to help as much as the elementary teachers would do unless I asked, with asking for help was a lot harder than I thought it would be everyone was confused too, after awhile the teacher finally got tired of running around the room jumping from student to student, marched up to the front of the class and wrote on the board of how to do a certain assignment.

The book I’m reading is Middle School:Just My Rotten Luck.What I do well is playing soccer.I struggle with is learning stuff.My goal is to always get 100,get high honor role,and let the teachers like me and know I’m a good student.My goal to get high honor role.Every day even in the night I will never forget to do my homework,always study real hard on my study guides,and never! go to the principal’s office.They could always influence me.

Like all other students and like all of you, I moved from primary school to middle school with infinite questions in my mind. First day at school frightened the daylights out of me. All day long I was desperately waiting for someone to show me the ropes.

Up until seventh grade I loved school. I made A’s and B’s, had good friends, and actually enjoyed being there. All of this changed for me when I entered middle school where multiple schools from the area merged together to form seventh and eighth grade. Since I had done so well the prior year I had been placed in accelerated classes with kids I had never met before and boy would I be sorry. It turned out that I did not have the right clothes, a pretty enough face, nor did my parents have the money that it took to be cool that year and I was bullied. I had girls that would walk behind me and say “Paula, you’re ugly and stupid too” every day and for me I could not brush it off. Every day of having to get up and face these girls became harder

Math hasn't been that difficult for me, I don't struggle on everything, I'm honestly pretty good I listen closoly and explain it good then I will learn it pretty good. In the begining of the year in middle school I didn't undersand anything, but when I promoted I ended with a A+. In the passed I stuggled because I didn't have anyone to help me out little by little I got the hang of it. In the past when I struggled I didn't give up I kept doing it until I got the hang of it, the reason I don't give up is why give up? If i give up I won't get anywhere. A time I faced a challenge was the beginning of the 7 th grade and my first year of actual middle school. I was not doing well the first few months of school and didn’t understand the work and I was shy and not open enough to talk to my new teachers. I would not understand the material presented in class and was not motivated. Towards the end of the first semester I was failing most of my classes and my highest grade was a C. I did not know what to do with my life I and with all the stress building up on me I didn’t know what to do . Until one day my mom wanted to do something about it and saw me challenging this action helped changed my life.

My middle school experience has been like a rollercoaster, full of ups and down and sharp twist and turns that either make me scream in excitement or cry in fear, and in the end, it went by too quickly making me question whether I want to experience it all over again or leave and never turn back. No matter how I feel about it, middle school has shaped who I am today. Since the beginning of 6th grade till now, the end of 8th grade, I’ve changed a lot. I’m not just walking able gaining weight and growing a few inches; I’m talking about what I discovered. The last 3 years has taught me many lessons and helped me grow emotionally and changed my view of the world, the people around me and myself.

Student experiences can be evaluated in a variety of ways and attributed to the quality of educational systems. At different ages, students are better suited to different types of learning environments and teaching methods; however, the effectiveness of schools and teachers continuously influences all school-aged children. Throughout this analysis, I will focus primarily on my experience during my 6th grade year in middle school, including how my success was affected by the effectiveness of the school and my teachers throughout the year.

This year has been going great so far, but I have several goals for this last year of middle school.

In middle school, the relationship I had with my grandfather was one which was unbreakable. Even though he did not live in the same state, and I had both of my parents in the home he was always there for me. We place bets with each other over sporting events, like the World Series or the NBA Final, and the loser had to pay up whenever we were together again. Because I lived in North Carolina and he lived in upstate New York, we only saw each other once or twice a year, but he made we had together the most enjoyable. When my family would make the trip to New York I could not wait to see him because we talked about the various thing we were going to do when we were finally together, things like going to restaurants, going to amusment parks, and going to the mall. As a young child, these were all things you love to do, and he would make these events family outings, so all my cousins who were around the same age would come as well. This brought our family very close. While he was alive I was played every sport, and excelled in most of them. I enjoyed golf in particular because it was a sport my grandfather never really played, making him fascinated in every aspect of the sport. Although I was a superb athlete, I was good student as well. I made honor every year and that was what made him the proudest. Of all his grandchildren, there were only a few of us who excelled in school, and he incentivized us to keep up the good work by giving us money. Needless to say, there was not a

My educational experience had changed throughout my years in Middle School to High School and now to my senior year in High School. What I liked throughout Middle school and High school was learning new things with education and how to build my learning experience also how to read and write papers, while learning interesting things on our history and cultures around the world.
