There was a small village of people, and they didn't know how to talk in english, they didn't even know how to open a banana. But on day out of nowhere this helicopter comes out and that they starts destroying everything that the village had. So there was this group of 4 brothers. And it was 3 boys and one sister. And they starts seeing everything just being destroyed right in front of them there parents were gone, food, water, clothes everything
The aspect of survival I will be focusing on is the protagonists doing unimaginable things to keep themselves and their families alive. This occurs in all four of the texts that I have studied. The texts I studied were; the Berlin Boxing Club by Robert Sharenow, the Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell, the Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins directed by Gary Ross and finally 127 Hours directed by Danny Boyle. The Berlin Boxing Club is an extended text on a Jewish family's hardships during the Nazi era. The Most Dangerous Game is a

The main character Salva, went through alot of tragic events. For example, his school and his village got bombed, he made a new friend on the walk but his friend got ate by a lion, then he met his uncle but a couple days later his uncle was shot.

Survival is living on the hope that better things are yet to come in your life. Right now in our country people survive because of hope and the belief that people are good and they will help them out. People survive when they are homeless on the streets only because of the people who are good at heart and give them food or money to buy clothing for the winter. Gerta survived because of her family and friends. Anne Frank survived because she believed that “Despite all the evil going on in the world I still believe that all people are good at heart.”

He learns to survive on the streets by joining a gang. Stealing and mugging people were a part of his duty as a gang member. It is reasonable for a teen who is an orphan and homeless to try and live on the streets by stealing or mugging people for money. Is it the right way to survive? Think of survival as a game, a deadly serious game, that requires you to use your wits, skills and any resources available to you to survive. Survival is not a hobby, it is a mindset. Most people can reasonably handle 3-7 days of roughing it, as long as they have water, shelter and can move. After about 7 days, some people become despondent or just give up. You must stay focused on your game plan and tactics.

But many will confuse their needs for wants as to what it truly takes to survive off of. Some people survive off of very meager means and others think they need more to survive. In sum, the idea of survival is shown in literature through these two different ways.
Aristotle once quoted that “Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.” Granted, times have changed since 322 BC, but this general, basic idea can still be observed and studied in our modern times. Considering Aristotle is also one of the greatest thinkers in the history of western science and philosophy, this statement could easily be widely accepted, and could certainly provide substance for thought as to what the purpose of existence really is. In agreement to Aristotle, happiness is what makes a life worth living, and it is measured by refraining from materialism and feeling inspired by our coexisting society.
