Immigration in itself is the act of a person or groups of people moving to a country of which they are not native and do not possess citizenship. Legal immigrants possess legal documentation to reside and participate in the country or nation's workforce. Illegal immigration however, is the act of a person or groups of people crossing national borders in a form that oppose Immigration laws in that territory. These groups of people do not possess the legal requirements that would allow them to remain in the country they migrated to. The overall difference being that one participated and successfully completed the legal process to enter a country, while the other did not. As the salary for these jobs gets lower, consequently so does the price for many other things such as meal prices at restaurants and other forms of manual labor.
