Victor starts to sew body parts together and creates a monster and names him Frankenstein, an 8 foot tall monster that is able to learn. Throughout the film Victor mistreats the Monster and Victor acted like he was god, and Frankenstein became too strong and knowledgeable and tried to kill Victor, prior to that Victor wanted Frankenstein to be a slave for him.

After constructing and animating the creature, he’s in a flux never ending negative emotions. The creation gets turned into a monster both physically and mentally. Mary Shelley's novel, "Frankenstein" pinpoints the life of Victor Frankenstein, an intelligent and ardent man to natural philosophy and science, who consequently animates a creature who he believes to be an omen to his existence. The novel introduces Victor's upbringing with an adored family, his contemptible creation of the monster, and the doleful murder of his brother William.

In 1818 Mary Shelley wrote a horrific novel titled Frankenstein. It was such a hit back then, that it is still people still republish and make shows and movies from the book. Frankenstein, is about a young man, Victor Frankenstein, who is obsessed with science and trying to find the secret to life. While he is away at college, he thinks he has found it and begins putting a person together using various body parts. As soon as the person has life, Victor realizes his creation is a monster and immediately regrets the monster he has brought to life. He goes several years with hearing nothing from the monster and then finds it killed his youngest brother. On his return home, he decides he will track the monster down. It does not go so well though.

Frankenstein follows Victor Frankenstein’s triumph as he reanimates a dead body, and then details his guilt for creating such a thing. When the creation realizes how he came to be, and is rejected by mankind, he seeks revenge on his creator’s loved ones. In the novel Frankenstein, Mary Shelley portrays Victor Frankenstein as the true monster of the story through the use of literary devices revealing the characteristics that Frankensteins and monsters share, and shows how Frankenstein’s irresponsibility leads to his monstrous labeling.

Victor Frankenstein in the book Frankenstein faces many terrible situations and has to face many consequences for trying to play God’s role in creating life. Victor seen and dealt with many situations as a young boy that will lead to his madness and obsession with science. Victor has always been intrigued with science and life ever since he was a boy. He studied natural science endlessly trying to master how to create a creature that could sustained life. When Victor finally creates his creature, he becomes disgusted with how it turns out. Victor runs from his creation failing to teach him any social or moral qualities. The creature haunts Victor killing many of his family and friends. Victor will try to run from the many problems he has caused. This causes Victor’s misery throughout the book. Frankenstein, written by Mary Shelley, is a novel about a creature that is produced by Victor Frankenstein, as a result of his desire to discover the secret of life. Dr. Frankenstein founded this secret by animating dead flesh and stitching human corpses together to create a superhuman. As a reader, one realizes the consequences of Victor’s discoveries through series of unfortunate events that occur in the novel. The story begins with four letters which help introduce the story from Walton’s perspective as he meets Victor and learns the truth and tragedy behind Dr. Frankenstein. However, throughout the novel, letters are sent from Elizabeth and Alphonse, which further develop the story.

Anxiety has been around for many years due to stress levels being too high or events that have happened in the past, but does anyone realize that it is a serious thing and can hurt someone mentally? While researching different academic articles about anxiety and other types of mental illness. I found a few academic journals who describe other people’s lives with anxiety and other mental illnesses. The creature wants love and to be loved, but after being rejected by society, he soon becomes a menace.

Frankenstein suffers from schizophrenia and maybe even dissociative identity disorder (when someone has two or more distinct personalities). These mental illnesses cause Frankenstein to blow his monster’s foulness way out of proportion the same way Captain Ahab would always hype up Moby Dick as if it were Satan himself. His megalomania carries his thoughts into a deeper level of obsession just like how Frankenstein’s obsession with creating and destroying life pushes him into physical states that almost kill him.

Frankenstein is a gothic novel that many people know the horrors of this creature.
