The Youtube channel was started in 2014 by Dr. Matt Carriker after posting a video of the progress of a dog that was hit and left by a car. Dr. Matt is a vet in San Antonio, Texas who created the website to make it easier for viewers that wanted to donate to help save animals. Although it started out with just Dr. Matt, Vet Ranch is now made up of four amazing veterinarians that include, Dr. Karri. Dr. Wendy, and Dr. Dave who help save animals lives. Since it is not clearly stated on the website that it includes the option to donate to either Vet Ranch or the Preventative Care Program some people may become frustrated or even confused thinking they may have to donate to more than one place. However, although it is not stated anywhere on the website that donating to either Vet Ranch or The Preventative Care Program is an option, this program is still mentioned on the Vet Ranch website, which states that they are partners. Also, having the option to donate to either program allows for more animals in a wider area that can be helped and might even encourage people to donate more money to the programs if they have the funds to do so. Due to them being partners it is likely that if a donation is made to the Preventative Care Program, the money could be used to help Vet Ranch out. So in conclusion, it does not matter which one viewers donate to, any donation is still going to be helping out animals and that is what Vet Ranch’s mission is… After all, their motto is “We’re Gonna Fix ‘Em
The suburban city of Coquitlam, BC is famous for its scenic landscape that includes Mountains, Lakes, Parks and recreational places. Some of the most outstanding veterinary clinics in Coquitlam include; Lincoln Animal Hospital, Mundy Animal Hospital and Coquitlam Animal Hospital that specializes in integrated medicine. Mundy Animal Hospital was established in 1995 while Coquitlam Animal Hospital has been operating since 1978.

Comparing the Hillside Veterinary Clinic Marketing Plan to the standard marketing plan outline, you can easily see certain aspects of business marketing that HVC has overlooked. First, not keeping customer email addresses is a huge mistake. E-mail marketing is a very effective and affordable effort, especially if the growing housing market is catering to new families, younger people who practically live on their iPhones and Laptops. Not even having a website is mistake #2. There are simple web platforms that have pre-designed templates, and for pennies a day HVC could triple their web presence by having a website, and feeding the business listing to the major search engines, not just Yahoo.
Our message is that people shouldn’t buy dogs from puppy mills but adopt them from a shelter.
Do you ever look and all the puppies in a pet store and think, where did all these puppies come from? Well, the answer is: puppy mills. Puppy mills may sound like a cute, fun, happy place, but if you think that, you are wrong; it’s the opposite. Puppy mills should be made illegal because puppies and dogs are overbred, underfed, and tortured under the horrible conditions they are in. If you don’t know what a puppy mill is, it is an establishment that overbreeds, tortures, and underfeeds dogs and puppies. Puppy mills overbreed dogs, but that’s not all. Multiple dogs are put into tiny cages they hardly fit in and the dogs are underfed and starved. These puppies and dogs are “raised” in horrible conditions, and then are “shipped” to pet stores that may be near you.
This would require you to donate each month to buy a bale of hay or more for their horses. Hay is very expensive in Arizona costing them $13.50 per bale. Even a little donation can go a long way. Another way to help fund them is to support KittyCity. Since this organization operates on donations they need all the donations they can get. By donating it can help provide cats in need with a safe environment to stay in. There is a tab on their online site called “Make a Donation”. There are many different types of categories you can donate to such as hay, HavasuPups, Havasupi Rescue Horses, Supplements for horses, food for KittyCitty, vet care, food for puppies, and hoof trimming. I chose this agency because I love all types of animals. I also wanted to see what they were doing to help these animals out and how I could help. When walking into Wildhorse Ranch Rescue I was eager to learn all about the animals and help the owners in any way I could. We first toured the whole ranch and they told us about how the animals ended up there. After getting a tour of the ranch we split up into 4 groups. First, I cleaned out the storage room where they keep all the supplies for the
In the years after the Civil War, Texas seemed to be the land of opportunity. Northern pioneers, newly freed slaves, some Mexican citizens, and cattle poured into Texas. Business savvy cattlemen acted on the high demand of beef in the United States. They assembled herds of free-ranging wild cattle together in South Texas for drives up the trail to railhead markets in Kansas. The men who worked on the cattle trails imagined themselves as cowboys, but never imagined the hard labor that would follow. They left home as young, naïve, but brave men only to return after one season on the trail toughened and wise.
Early cattle drives headed west to the California gold fields after 1850, when cattle worth $5 to $10 a head in Texas would garner five to 20 times that amount in San Francisco. Most drives to California took five or six months. Some ranchers held contracts to supply beef to frontier forts and to Indian reservations in West Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico beginning in the late 1850s. Cattle ranching virtually halted during the Civil War years, as the frontier retreated. Beginning in 1866, however, ranching and cattle trailing expanded rapidly. Cattle drives to northern and western markets, and later to railroad-loading facilities, started in earnest in 1866, when an estimated 260,000 head of cattle crossed the
Weston Ranch, a community home to 25,000 people making up a very small population of Stockton. Here is where home has been for me the past 9 years and I do believe it is time for a change. Throughout my nine years of living in Weston Ranch I have come to learn many great and not so great things about living here.
Whenever I start to talk about my breeding/showing program, people automatically jump to the conclusion that I am a puppy miller. To me that is very hurtful and I take it offensively. A puppy mill is an establishment that breeds puppies to sell, typically on an intensive basis and in conditions regarded as inhumane. Me, as a breeder, I am there to improve the breed and higher the expectations and the breed standards, while letting the dogs live a healthy and happy lifestyle.

Every year animals are being mistreated, getting abused, and being left alone to die. When someone volunteers to help out he or she could save an animal's life. The shelter is not funded very much from the government to maintain their stability. They are having a tough time holding down the business, paying all employees, and housing and feeding every animal that walks through that door. That is why the staff is pleased with generous volunteers. On their website it states "However, TLHS primarily relies on funding from donations and fundraisers to help house, feed and care for the 6,000 animals per year who enter our facility" (About TLHS). Business hours at the shelter are anywhere from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Tuesday's - Saturday's. If one decides to volunteer he or she has to be 16 years and younger with a parent or guardian's nearby, or he or she can be 17 years and older with no more than a parent or guardian's signature. Tasks at the shelter include: walking the dogs, interacting with the cats, cleaning their beds and laying out fresh newspaper, and as well as washing their food bowls/dishes. Also 'Save a Pet. Spenser a Pet. Name a Pet' is a great way to care for an animal if transportation to the shelter is out of the question. All someone would have to do is donate $75.00 for a dog or $45.00 for a cat; when doing so he or she will receive the honor to name the pet they sponsored. The money that person donated covers the shots that the animal will need and spaying/neutering the animal. If someone does makes the decision to volunteer he or she can call the shelter at 662-841-6500 or email them at info@tupelohumane.org. If they also want to plan a trip up there the address is 2400 South Gloster Street, Tupelo, Mississippi
Ranching is starting to slowly disappear in all parts of the country. Nevertheless it is common to hear about a ranch that has been in the family for four generations still running and making good profits, but it is very rare to hear about a ranch starting up and being successful. People that are starting up a ranch ordinarily want new equipment, such as tractors, trailers, and pickups just a few ways how people go broke ranching. More often than not it is better to work with what you have or possibly buy older equipment. Starting ranches always need to look for ways to save money or cut costs.
Right now, somewhere in the world, in the united states, and even this specific state, there is thousands of innocent dogs living in inhumane conditions that are unfit for healthy substance. They do this legally, and illegally, and those doing it legally are almost the worst because state laws condone it. The legislature recognizes that they specifically include, and exclude specific requirements, or restricts entirely. These dogs not only life in obscene conditions, but they are also there for one specific horrifying purpose of breeding, but not just regular breeding. These dogs are essentially transformed into machines, pumping out a minimum of two to three litters a year, just to maintain the current demand for the perfect puppy. This mass
Around fifty million years ago there once roamed a hungry land animal who wandered in search of food. Through the process of evolution this creature resembled fish. It was warm blooded mammal and it was able to breathe air through it lungs. From a walking land creature over time it became the master of the oceans that we now know as the whale.
