This phrase is repeatedly heard every morning in schools across the country. But why? How have we come to have secured liberty and justice, so much so that we recite it everyday? (The 1st Amendment) This states the basic freedoms that belong to the people, and that the government cannot take these freedoms away. This ensures and protects their liberties and freedoms.This document not only protects the liberties of the people, but was voted on by the people to become one with the Constitution. This ensures that there is double security protecting our rights and protections. In “Document A”, it is stated that “..the portion allotted to each subdivided among distinct and separate departmentments. Hence a double security arises to the rights of the people. The different governments will control each other” It can be inferred that having two separate departments will ensure double security over the people and control over each other, so not one source of power is greater than another. While in “Document D”it reads that representatives in the house will have votes based on population of states versus the senate which has equal votes throughout the states “Clause 3: Representatives shall be appointed according to population… Clause 1:The Senate of the United states shall be composed of two senators from each states… and each senator shall have one vote.”; this ensures, again, double security so that not only one, but two representative branches must approve before it becomes what intended. Thesis: Although they established America’s independence from England during the Revolutionary War, the Founding Fathers are in actuality another elite class who persuaded the other classes to support them during the war in order to keep control. Thus, like how England had tyranny over the Colonies, the Founding Fathers took over as tyrants to suit their needs.
Would you want to live in a country of Tyranny? The Constitution helped prevent the United States tyranny. The Constitution was written in Philadelphia in May 1787. The purpose of the Constitution was to form a better government and to get rid of the Articles of Confederation. How did the United States prevent tyranny? Tyranny is a country ruled by a dictator, king, or a strong group of people. It is the result of when a ruler or rules have too much power. The Constitution guarded against tyranny in four ways which were Federalism, separation of powers, checks and balances, and the large and small states both treated equally or also known as equal representation.
Almost 230 years ago in Philadelphia, 55 representatives from 12 out of the 13 colonies met up to revise the Articles of Confederation. They felt the Articles were too weak and went into this meeting with the intention of only changing a couple of things on the regarding America’s protection against a dictatorship. Instead, they ended up creating a completely new system; the Constitution. The Constitution protects Americans from tyranny through federalism, separation of powers, checks and balances, and protection of small states.
In document 1, the Bill of Rights and the 14th amendment are listed. The two most important amendments on the list are most likely the first and last. The 1st amendment ensures civil liberties. The first is “no establishment of religion” and the second is “freedom of religion”. These are two key aspects of the 1st amendment that have shaped the very foundation of the United States. The first part says that the federal government cannot establish a national religion while the second part says that you may practice or not practice any religion you want. The next part says “(freedom of) speech” which endures all speech, both pure and symbolic, are protected and cannot be taken away by the government. After that, “(freedom of) press” is stated. This says that the government may not censor anything that the press with publish or show to the people. Finally, “(freedom of) assembly and petition” is protected. This means that all people have the right to peacefully assemble whenever they’d like and may start a petition whenever they’d like. However, not all of these are without limits. There is a time, place, and a manner restriction. This means that all of the above things are protected to an extent and if the line is crossed, the right can be taken away. The 14th amendment has three key parts. The first is “incorporation of (the) Bill of Rights to the states”. This means

It provides important limitations on the government that protect the fundamental rights of United States citizens and it's the source of all government powers.

The 1st amendment is your freedom of speech, press, religion and so on and so forth. The propose for this is the ability to say, write, or believe in what you think is right. This lead to it ratification because it allow people to think what they think freely without being punished for it.
From a young age, I remember starting a school day by standing, facing the American flag with my right hand placed over my heart, and reciting the pledge of allegiance. The pledge was as follows, “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”, however, that was not always how it was worded. The Pledge of Allegiance that many Americans know today has been rewritten many times, by the United States' government. Moreover, the language of the Pledge was changed in a straightforward way for American citizens to show their patriotism for America.

The history of a country is usually deep and complex. This is the same for the United States. The U.S history is very complex with lots of history, including the making of the U.S constitution. The making of our “rulebook” was important because it fixed issues with the Article of Confederation. But, we needed a way to fix the problem of Tyranny. And they did. I think the Government stopped tyranny by Separating powers, checks and balances, and keeping Voting Amounts inline.
The Declaration of Independence, the Preamble, and the Bill Rights are the most precious documents that america holds dear to. The Founding Fathers established a form of government that made sure to hold their prosperity and tranquility. In written words, people have the right to use their voices and cannot be deprived of their given divine rights.

the Bill of Rights is a written document to protect the rights of people and to limit the power of the government. the way the Bill of Rights limits the power of the government is that they can make any laws that would contradict or go against the bill right, for example, our Second Amendment gives us the right to bear arms, which means we can carry guns and the government cannot make a law against that. Our first amendment we have freedom of speech and press which also means that they cannot control what we say and they cannot take that away from us. The 4th amendment they cannot search our houses without a warrant. These are just a few ways that this document limits the power of the government and protects the people (Document 3).

The United States of America has been through many political and social conflicts and now it is a Nation that believes in providing “liberty and justice” to every person.
