As Karen Brown is the chair person she goes at the top as she is the head of the company and in charge of all functional areas and makes all the main decisions within the business. She has help from the vice chair and the trustees who accompany Karen in running the charity. Members of the company are called the Oxfam association. As the hierarchical structure descends there’s less control and authority. Furthermore, is an advantage because Tesco PLC for example, would be able
The hierarchical organization structure is pyramid-shaped. At the top of the structure is a single person, who has a small number of people reporting directly to them. Each of these people has several people reporting into them and the number of people at each level increases as you move down the structure.
