Dear, Rhidge I am writing you as I am getting on the Titanic my journey will start back home today I want you to know I will be there soon. How is it there is the weather nice? It is getting chilly here but we are on our way now. We almost just hit another boat on our way out of the port they say this is a “bad omen”. The Titanic is very nice inside it is like royalty we got first class seats very expensive! Hope school is going good! They don’t have enough lifeboats for everyone but the ship will not sink, afterall it is the “unsinkable”! Today I went swimming the pool is super nice but scary because it is located on the bottom level. It is one of the first ones ever to be on a boat. This is a crazy journey I wish you were here this would be even more fun. Our room is suite this is the first day and I already have done so much. It is getting late but they have a dinner so I am going to get a bite to eat. See you tomorrow buddy have a good night. …show more content…
Be back soon and things will be back to how they were. They have a really good breakfast, so be back soon. I was just on one of the many decks they have I love the views they have but I am a little seasick or a combo between the two of homesick and seasick. I got really sick while I was gone and had to take special treatments hope it is not coming back. They have gigantic boilers or steamers as I call them they are a big part of the
I wanted to take a moment to write this letter sharing with you my thoughts toward CWP and your staff at the south sub station. First let me express how grateful I am that I was chosen to be in the program. When you're incarcerated everyone (inmates) seems to know everything about everything so CWP was something that I was told not to participate in. This program is exceptional and I am grateful that the county has it in place so please share with the appropriate people that this program succeeds!
I am writing to express my concern regarding your company’s policy toward people of color. Recently, you denied admittance to a young Negro man who desired to compete with his high school team at a golf tournament. This tournament was scheduled to take place at your country club. He worked hard to earn his way there and was eager to experience the reward for his labors.Your decision is unjust because those of color should be treated as equals and not as a lower class. They should treated as those who belong in society, not cast out in the vast desert of poverty.
You have been gone for so long and I miss the sound of your voice, your gentle touch, and the way you hold me and make me feel safe. Right now I really need that, here in the states people are going crazy and there is mass hysteria about communism. I do not feel safe anymore in our home, I fear that our kids will be persecuted like everyone else and you will not be here to protect us and save us. Senator John McCarthy has “brain washed” everyone into thinking that people who are communists are evil and bad. He says anyone could be a communist and now people are accusing anyone and everyone of being a communist. It is funny, before you left we read
When I stood back up I watched the steaming water quickly melt away the ice. "So now I'm like you? I can freeze things?" Alister laughed. "Freezing time and people takes practice but one day you should be able to. For now, you'll have to work on freezing water, grass, and inanimate objects." I walked to my clothes and started putting them back on. "How long did it take you to master?" I looked to Alister to find he was already dressed. "Years but it may take you longer. You have many abilities to hone and probably even more that we haven't discovered." I took Alister's hand and he brought us back to the car.
To begin this letter, I would like to thank you for donating prayer and money to support Diamond Willow Ministries. You were very much a huge part of my recent trip there, as well as the boys camp that took place through the ministry.
This is a letter about dealing with adversity, learning and then becoming a better person because of your experience.
If I were to be presented with the opportunity to escape a prison, in which I would be certainly put to death, I would gladly take that opportunity. I am neither a 70 year-old man nor as unquestioning of Athenian law as Socrates. I would value my life, and what I could possibly do with the years I had left, over abiding to Athenian law. Socrates is seen through the writings of Plato as a wise and moral man; yet, he chooses to die, leaving his sons to grow up without his wisdom and teachings. After he is found guilty, he says, “So he proposes death as the penalty.
This sudden accusation startled me. I didn’t know what was happening nor did I know how to respond to such a situation. Tears shed down my face for a false blame and I was in misery. I believe that I am a victim. I believe I could not have, not in a million years, committed a crime as such to kill someone so close to me. Someone that meant so much to me. Someone I loved as a dear family member.
The religion of mexicans is not too far off from what may americans practice. The majority of Mexicans practice roman Catholicism. Roman catholic has dominated mexico for centuries, as over 70% of the population practices it.the church plays a large part in providing spiritual and social support. Christenings, weddings and funerals are all elaborate religious celebrations that bring Mexican families and neighbors together, building strong cultural ties that extend into daily life.
In 2014, “groundwater makes up 60 percent of California’s water use” (Governor Brown Changes, 2014).
I hope this message finds you well. I'd like to begin this letter off topic and take the opportunity to thank you for your efforts in health care reform. The greatest nation this world has ever known has an embarrassing health care system. It's a personal desire to see that no one's life is put in jeopardy due to financial means. My effort in contacting you today is in regards to something I fear desperately as I watch it unfold. It's a touchy subject that I personally do not like to debate or discuss with others. The last thing I ever want is to be considered an advocate of a policy or practice that ultimately would be discriminatory to another group of citizens. But unfortunately, I cannot agree with the new idea of integrating women into
There it is, the Titanic, scattered along the ocean floor. It lays peaceful and undisturbed. Looking away for only a moment, people are going to awake the grave site. This is not necessarily a good thing. Further, out in the distance, you can see the people that once belonged. They are crying out to their loved ones, longing to regain their tranquility once again. The artifacts down in the Titanic are very symbolic, which must stay. To some, it is to remember the ones that have been lost, and even what can happen from a tragedy. The true problem is should we bring these relics to museums, or should be we leave them be. Good may come from this, but maybe it cannot. These precious artifacts must remain where they are meant to be, even if that means they are thousands of miles apart from us.
In conclusion, it was the best trip ever. I got to visit with a lot of family, and have a great time with them. My favorite part was Gulf World. I hope that we can visit Panama City Beach again
Energy comes in many different forms such as light energy, electrical, and mechanical. Utilizing these types of energy are essential to human development. The source of energy that would be best for NYC would be a nuclear-based energy source. Nuclear based energy source last longer, produce more energy per fuel pellet, and release fewer pollutants into the air than fossil-based sources.
There is a threat haunting Europe- a threat on communism. All of the powerful countries in Europe have created an alliance to fight communism. The Pope and Tsar, the Metternich and Guizot, and the French Radicals and German police-spies have all turned against communism.
