1. Price Conscious The first distinctive segment we have identified is composed of the people considered price a determinant factor in making their vegetables and fruits purchasing decisions. From the data gathered from our interviews, we realized that most of our participants are considering price an important factor in purchasing our produce. From external data, we determined that 80% of the consumers are price-conscious in their purchasing across all industry. Therefore, we determined that our price conscious segment is 80% potential market: $ 45.31 MM Interest Level: Medium 2. Healthy Diet Conscious From the data gathered from our interviews, we determined that one of the distinctive segment in our market potential was the consumers interested the most in eating a healthy diet. The surprising fact was that the consumers that identified with this group perceived healthy food at food coming from the local farms, vegetables and fruits locally produced and they expressed an interest in home cooking. According to with a survey conducted by Whole Foods, 47 % of the adults are interested and willing to pay more for the products that are locally produced Therefore we determined that the size of this segment would be 47% of our potential market, $26,62 MM.
