The two terrorist attacks that I will examine are the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center that took place on February 26, 1993 and The Boston Marathon Bombing took place on April 15. 2013. I will also be providing an overview of the terrorist attack at the World Trade Center and the Boston Marathon Bombing. I will explain the lessons learned from each attack in my own opinion. I will also describe what protective measures were taken during the attacks to prevent further casualties and injuries.

station and the power. The explosion created large amount debris that pinned people between rubble. The blast was strong enough to destroy the use of the World Trade Center back up power supply. The ventilation system in the building was filled with smoke and filled each floor with smoke.
During the investigation law enforcement found pieces of the vehicle that was used to blow up The World Trade Center and was able to track it back to the rental company that the men rented it from. One of the men involved Mohammed Salameh returned to the vehicle rental location and asked for his refund and then was arrested. The investigators were able to locate the suspect’s apartments, storage unit and the other suspects involved in the explosion. The men involved in the explosion were arrested, brought back to the United States and sent to prison.
The Boston Marathon Bombing took place on April 15. 2013 close to the finish line of a marathon that was taking place. The individual responsible for the terrorist attack were two brothers by the names of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The two brothers created bombs from nails and other items in a pressure cooker which they learned to make from an online website. The Tsarnaev brothers placed the pressure cooker in backpacks. The two back packs with the pressure cookers were placed in the crowed near the finish line and went off around the same time as the runners were passing the finish
On April 15, 2013 during the Boston Marathon in Copley Square, two bombs exploded near the finish line killing at least three and injuring over 170 people. This bombing sent the nation in an uproar and it was immediately recognized as a terrorist attack. When the Federal Bureau of Investigation took over, a few days later a surveillance video and photographs of the two suspects were released.
It was on 9/11/01 when it happened. Hijackers hijacked four airplanes. Some terrorists flew a couple of plains in the two skyscrapers. They caught on fire and then collapse. The Other terrorists flew and destroyed the pentagon. The fourth plane where going to crash the white house but they stopped them before they did. About 3,000 people died that day.
On April 19, 1995 the world was thrown into shock. Terrorism was not a thing in the United States. It was even more of a shock to find out this terrorist was a resident of the United States. Not only did this tragedy effect the hundreds of people inside the Oklahoma City Murrah building, it also affected billions of rescue workers, families, and loved ones. All the different groups of people affected by this bomb copped in very different ways.
September 11, 2001 is one of the most infamous dates in American history. On this day, 19 radicalized Islamic militants hijacked four United States-based airplanes. The Boston Marathon Bombing was one of the worst catastrophes to hit Boston since the Boston Massacre in 1770, as well as the United States since the World Trade Center was struck. The Boston Marathon Bombing happened at 2:49pm EDT on April 15, 2013 with 3 U.S. citizens dying in the initial bombing on April 15, one police officer from a shooting on April 18, and one suspect from a shooting on April 19. The bombing left hundreds injured and had an impact felt throughout the country.

According to Bucci, mass gatherings have been a target for numerous years and the Boston Marathon Bombing could have happened anywhere, from a mall, to another marathon. The Boston Marathon Bombing brought the issue of terrorism in the U.S. back into international spotlight.
On April 15, 2013, at the Boston Marathon finish line two bombs went off at 2:49 about 12 seconds apart. 264 people were wounded and 3 spectators were killed, 29-year-old Krystle Campbell, 8-year-old Martin Richard, and 23-year-old Lu Lingzi. On February 26, 1993 at 12:18 pm in New York City, the first call was received at the Central Office from a street alarm box at the corner of West and Liberty Streets. The call was reporting a possible transformer vault (or manhole) explosion on West Street near the World Trade Center. Through all this chaos, a fourth plane had been on hijacked; the delay of departure allowed for the passengers to learn of the events that occurred with the other three planes. The passengers of the fourth plane sacrifice their lives to prevent the hijackers from hitting their next target. It was discovered that attacks were the results America’s part in the Persian Gulf War. The hijackers were discovered to be Islamic terrorists who received funding from the Osama Bin Laden’s organization. This deadly massacre caused America to take some drastic measures in different departments. Department of Homeland Security, aviation and US Customs and Immigration immediately made changes that would help to prevent from any future terrorist attacks.
