“The Ron Clark Story” is such an inspirational movie in my opinion. I feel that this movie shows what dedication in teaching is all about. It shows that teachers care and have chosen their career in order to make a difference. Ron Clark was an outstanding teacher who was said to be able to raise test scores in any school he taught at. However, instead of choosing a simple, private school that already has high test scores, he chose to teach in an area where students were really struggling. He chose to help those that really needed it. The Ron Clark Story, in my opinion, is all about how much of a difference teachers can really make. I believe that teaching excellence comes from two different things, dedication and the desire to help others. Teachers who are dedicated to their students and classrooms are definitely going to be excellent and never give up at what they do. Teachers who have a great desire to help their students and their career will continue to do everything they can to make sure their students receive what is needed. The two characteristics that make an excellent teacher are dedication and the desire to help others. I believe dedication is important when teaching because if a teacher is not dedicated to his or her classroom, then how will their students learn? If a teacher is dedicated to the class, then I believe that they will excel at making sure their students are receiving a tremendous education. Dedication is all about never giving up and devoting a large amount of effort to whatever is being done. If teachers never give up on their students and devote their greatest effort in helping their students succeed, then I believe they will excel at teaching. I also believe that an important part to be an excellent teacher is the desire to help others. If a teacher did not have the want to help others, then obviously, it would be difficult for them to help students succeed. Students need help, it should be a teacher’s number one priority to help their students. Some may not ask for help and some may need more help than others, however, teachers who get angry or annoyed with students when help is asked of them, will not be successful. Therefore, desire to help others is very important when
One Saturday on a backroad in the middle of nowhere. There was a few friends sitting around a fire, just having a good time. The same ole friends that have been taken life on together and promised to always be there when one needed them. Jake Del, Cale Taylor, K-Art, Court Carp, Kait Klies, and Car Henderson.
Outstanding teachers posses the following skills and or attributes: The ability to adapt to any changes that may occur, The cognitive skills to think quickly and logically, The virtue of patience to handle the repeating of information for those students who may not catch on quickly and finally The passion of teaching others to be better learners and the ability to listen and analyze the emotional, physical, and mental state of the students . Truly good educators remember that the image they exude is the example that is set forth for their students. A teacher provides high expectations for the students as well as his or her self to creates a positive atmosphere.
As I step into the oversized building, I freeze in my tracks. I start to feel dizzy. I recognize this immediately as the courthouse I was in this summer, in Oconto County. This was the same lobby, I remember passing through it. I suddenly realize how long I’ve been standing there, and almost have to run to catch up with my class. When I catch up, my class is beginning to enter a courtroom, the same courtroom. I continue into the room with the class, and see the judge that I saw this summer. I already know, of course, that his name is Michael Judge, the main judge of this courthouse. He looks me straight in the eye, before turning back to the class. Indeed, he must remember what I said, before I had left this courtroom that day.
It started when Kevin Morton, a 22 year old college student was shot while he was headed through the parking lot after a shift from his work.
Being a teacher doesn’t mean you have to be boring and uneventful. Being a good teacher shows that you know what your students like and make them want to learn. Being like Ms.Murrow would give your students a horrible year. Being Mr.White makes your students look forward to learning. Be a teacher that gets students to look forward to learning,
A fellow educator would hear these answers as examples of the teacher’s ability to engage students in every lesson, her desire for all students to succeed, and her competence in subject matter. Although an outstanding educator exudes many other characteristics, these three qualities are essential for one to be considered an outstanding, high-quality teacher.
On my schedule it said that I had Mr.Hart for Smart period. I went to smart in his room for most days, until, we realized my smart was actually in another room, and that two smart periods were listed on the home access center. I got mixed up and two times before last smart period (I was absent) I had gone to Mrs.Pleshas room, I suppose I was confused because your names are both Nicole. I'm really sorry for the confusion, I'll go to the attendance room and sort it
Grant Carter, he is 21 years old, tall and build. I didn’t talk as much with him, but enough to get an idea of the personalities he has. He is very relaxed person, and easy going. He has same hobbies as Kim. He too loves to hunt and fish. He embraces the idea that any real man can shoot a deer, or catch a fish. He seems very protective, and he takes good care of those close to him. He is hard working too. Grant loves all kinds of music, from Rap to country to rock and rook. Grant had a fun high school career. He sees it as one of his accomplishments. He was voted as best shoulder to cry on in 9th grade. This was also the time he learned how to cook. Grant is humble about his accomplishments; therefore I had a hard time trying to get some
“Hi, I am here for my husband, Charles Bryant” said Anna Bryant as she waited patiently for one of the police officers to get him out of prison. “Here is the money,” she sighed as her husband slowly walked towards her wearing an orange jumpsuit. “What happened to you?” Anna asked. “Oh I just got in a big accident while driving home from a club.” “Remember what I told you about calling me for a ride when you are drunk,” she replied. Anna’s family is very wealthy. Her father owns three mansions in Egypt. The last damage that Charles caused was very bad. She had to sell one of her mansions to pay for Charles’ destruction. Anna got sick of bailing her husband out of jail. It is the fourth time he has been in jail. “Let’s go home, Elena is at home by herself.” The only reason that Anna is bailing her husband out
After hearing Kristina’s background of her road to becoming a teacher, I began to ask her questions about her teaching experience. The first question that I asked Kristina was what influenced her decision to become a teacher? Kristina’s response to this question connected greatly to my own influences. She had known that she wanted to teach from about second grade. Kristina nannied and babysat for multiple kids when she was younger. The experience she had with watching kids had an impact on what she wanted to do in her life. Having the opportunity to relate to children
Trying to paint a dog while Craig Tucker's shoulder is frequently bumping into your shoulder is officially the hardest thing to do. I paused not wanting to snap in public, but this damn project was due on Monday and today is Friday. Thankfully Kyle elected that he would finish the painting by himself at his house. He was trying to act like he was doing Craig and me a favor. We both knew that Kyle needed to perfect the work for an A. I shouldn't judge Kyle for being a perfectionist. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones I guess.
Hi you all! It's been a while since last story was posted, but here we're with more Torontonias' lives and dreams. Check it out:
To be an outstanding educator you need to possess many important qualities. The qualities I believe are the most important are flexibility, creativity, and passion. The teachers I remember and relate to the most have those qualities. They are the areas that I believe I have strength in and the areas that will benefit my future students.
The teacher has the most important part of the classroom. The success of the educational system depends on him. A good teacher can change our lives. He/she can make things easy for us. He also can guide us to the right way where we can achieve our dreams. The clever teacher should know what to do depending on the level and the grade of his students. He should be well prepared, smart and patient.
Last but not least, a good teacher must be passionate about what he/she does. Teaching young people is a teacher’s dream and
