My career might start off as a database designer. Database designers determine what are best types of databases to solve certain problems and work with database tools in order to develop those databases.
After a database designer, I could be promoted to a manager role. Knowledge managers have a much higher-level knowledge to business problems than database designers. Knowledge managers usually focus on an area like accounting and working with database designers to develop databases that meet the needs of the users. In contrast to database designers, knowledge managers handle different tasks. Knowledge managers interfere with users and database designers in order to ensure that the databases meet the needs of the users and most importantly, the company. They usually have a specialty in a field in organizing, refining or gathering.
Responsibility of database jobs
The responsibility of a database administrator is to serve as the link between the database designers, knowledge managers and users. The database designers are often brought in for completing specific projects and then moving onto other projects at other companies or different departments at the same company. Their job are usually finished when they finish designing the database. While they may be used in the future to perform some

The administrative staff and managers will have tasks and duties which spread across all departments and across all systems which are used within these departments. As changes start to take place, InsuraCorp has started to run into problems, each of the departments that will be downsized, or shut down have their own IT team lead and employees they are in charge of. Management has to figure out how and where they are going to place these individuals and what should they do when there is more IT personnel than positions available. As the centralization process starts to take shape, the InsuraCorp Executive Committee will start putting all IT projects in their order of significance. Assigning individuals to the IT department where their skills are required could hurt the company because some do not like change, the transition to the IT departments should be done with no breaks in the services and support
A steering committee comprised of personnel from internal audit, information systems, and the finance department are involved in developing the policies of and reviewing the operations of the IT department. This cross-departmental committee helps align the goals of the IT department and the firm as a whole, and helps establish segregation of duties at the manager level so as to establish a culture of openness. Taking this idea of establishing segregation of duties at the managerial level, we find comfort in the fact that the Chief Information Officer (CIO) reviews the logs of the VP, Applications. It is also worthy to note that the IT department has 4 executives that are responsible for different areas of the department and which the CIO is ultimately responsible for reviewing. Although the CIO manages the IT department as a whole, there are 3 levels of management, as the CIO reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and thus mitigates the risk that oversights or fraudulent activities will be missed. IT Management is a very important area as this helps dictate the tone of the department and helps establish the policies that are in place, but through our review of this ITGC area, we find little risk associated with IT Management and have found evidence that the audit team can rely on the controls put in place.

Management is one of the most important human activities and has critical impact on life, growth, development or destruction of an organisation.
